Recipe: Barrel Finished Simple Syrup
I'm not going to tell you my life story just so you can see a recipe, so here it is:
- Put the Bourbon Baggers and Water in a saucepan
- Heat over medium heat until the water turns bourbon brown
- Remove the Bourbon Baggers from the water
- Add the sugar
- Using a spoon or whisk, continuously stir the sugar until it is completely dissolved and the liquid is clear.
- Put in a container and cool in refrigerator until ready to use.
